+35 years of experience in the Life Science and new technology industry working in medical instrumentation, in-vitro diagnostics, implantable devices, cell therapies and drug delivery companies. Recently also in FoodTech and Security products.
- Tomas has lived and worked in the UK, Germany, France, the USA, Austria, Czech Republic and Switzerland, employed by international corporations such as Serono, Haemonetics and Boston Scientific.
- During his career he has held a variety of executive positions including: General Manager of the LS division of a component manufacturer, Head of European RA&QA (pre- and post Medical Device Directive implementation of ISO 13485 Quality System), Head of Marketing Services (for the largest EU subsidiary in Munich), Director of International Product Supply and R&D department. Experienced in M&A team (two acquisitions $ 1,4 BN and $ 2,1 BN) and was responsible for Medical Vigilance Reporting (implantable products, MoH relationships)
- Since the year 2000, Tomas has been involved in various start-ups 5x as a CEO or co-founder. He eventually founded his own service company, specialising in management assignments in business development, sales & marketing, regulatory affairs and quality assurance, for large and mid-sized corporations and for the Swiss government agency as a Coach CTI Start-up.
- Tomas studied Medical Technology (Pharmaceutical Production Process) in Prague, modern languages in Zürich, International Marketing in INSEAD Fontainebleau and rounded it off with an MBA in Santa Monica, California.
